The annual 10 furlong Group 1 Emirate Airlines sponsored Dubai World Cup is the World'd richest horserace. Raced on the dirt track at Nad Al Sheba Racecourse in March this spectacle of the world's top thoroughbreds battling it out for a purse of US $6,000,000 is televised by Dubai Media Inc. Along with the Dubai World Cup, there are a further five Thoroughbred Group races and a Group One for Purebred Arabians, ensuring the day is one of the most significant in global Thoroughbred horseracing.
Editec have assisted Dubai Media with this production since 2002 and supply a 6 channel EVS XT and one of our senior operators to highlight and replay all the excitement and action to a massive international audience of horse racing fans. Mr. Steve Cotterill and Paul Tamlyn have been out to Dubai to work alongside Dubai Media's staff on this program and we look forward to many more years of involvement with this prestigious event.
