Situated in the heart of the UK with excellent motorway and airport access, Editec's quality, air conditioned editing facilities are offered for hire for your productions. The facilities are available for "DRY" hire or if required we can supply the editor as well as the equipment.
If location is an issue, Editec's air conditioned Mercedes Outside Broadcast Vans, with on board editing facilities can be hired for use at your production site.

Subject to upgrade to the new quad processor Intel MACS when these have become proven in tests, we currently use MAC Power PC Dual 2.7 systems, fitted with AJA Kona2 PCI cards. The industry standard “Sapphire” effects package is supplied, and the editor has a choice of single / dual 23 or 30 inch cinema displays. In addition the old faithful graded CRT monitor is still there - just cannot be dispensed with for quality monitoring. For storage we are currently using either Medea or Huge disk arrays – both having multi HD stream capability. For back-up purposes, we are planning to install an ATTO industry “workhorse” 6TB array. Whilst this dual 160 array is not quite capable of HD streaming, it is an ideal backup “safety net” for those important award winning packages / programmes!
Needless to say, the MAC input is assignable, as is the output, on the router.
