New EVS facilities for Metro TV sold and installed by Editec Ltd
EVS now in Ghana
Steve Cotterill flew out to Ghana on October 6th 2008 to accompany the arrival of one of Editec's refurbished 4 channel EVS systems sold to facilities company Metro TV, the first EVS to be commissioned in the country. The system had to be integrated into a composite environment, and be ready for the Ghana Black Stars World Cup Qualifier football match versus Lesotho on 11th October 2008. Fadi Fatel, chief executive officer of Metro TV commented:
"We did a rehearsal just one day after the system arrived and all went very well. We hope to continue our business relationship with Editec and have already asked them to quote for the upgrade of our Outside Broadcast truck and to convert our MCR to SDI."
Sold, delivered, commissioned and running - the 4 channel EVS from Editec at Metro TV in Ghana.
PS - Ghana went on to beat Lesotho 3-0 on Saturday to confirm their place in the next phase of qualifying for Angola
